Raised in a small town in Ontario, Julie was surrounded by photography pretty much her whole life and didn't quite appreciate the medium outlet as much as she does today.

 

 The smell of developing chemicals was a constant in their home and to this day, a small whiff will take her back into that little darkroom in the back of their house where she spent many patient hours with her father.

Julie always dabbled in photography over the years, but always for personal enjoyment.  It took one day for a friend to ask her to shoot a wedding and a gift of a new Nikon camera to take her photography to a new level.  

 

For the past 20 years, Julie has focused her photography on families, weddings, and editorial work – all while quietly shooting her fine art photography as a side hobby.

Julie then decided that she needed to change direction and focus her energy on her Fine Art photography and make it the forefront.

​

What she hopes that you will find in her curated collection, is the world as she sees it, through her eyes and that her images will be brought to life for you to enjoy in your home or office.
